Hello

Today when I tried to launch Mod Organizer 2 a window came up saying Fallout 4's update is newer than F4SE can run. Has anyone else had this notice ?

Did I load a new mod that caused this ? Need Help Thanks

I have the same problem, it looks like Steam has updated Fallout 4 to version 1.10.64, and the last supported version by F4SE is 1.10.50. We have to wait for the update Script Extender for the new version, but I'm not sure so I would be grateful if someone confirms it.

The main game has been updated to version 1.10.64.0 five hours ago . F4SE is currently for game version 1.10.50 .0 . so it won't work along with the mods that need it

They will update F4SE as soon as they can for the current game version. when they do download the new version of F4SE

Then your have to wait for all the mods your using F4SE in to update from fallout 4 1.10.50 .0 F4SE

To fallout 4 1.10.64.0 F4SE Then reinstall /update them also

You can roll back your game with steam console To version 1.10.50 and continue playing Till F4SE & the mods catch up to the update

That's what i do i roll it back and wait for everything to catch up . Or try this for the future .This is a handy mod that backs up your exes if you need to roll back https://old.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26956/?

Yup, they broke it again. This s*** is really starting to piss me off.

Yep, I thought someone said that they wouldn't need to update the main .exe after the last update because they would be pushing CC content another way... unless *GASP*! they actually fixed a few bugs this time...

Can i use this "fix" safely? For eg: When the new f4se comes out and and the mods that rely on f4se are updated can i just switch back to the latest fallout4.exe? Or are my saves screwed?

I couldn't believe this. I was just playing last night, and I have updates turned OFF in Steam (always launch F4SE through MO2), how the hell they still updated the game is a mystery to me. This is ridiculous. I have that turned off just for this reason, if they update, there's a long wait for SKSE, er F4SE, you know what I mean. They can't just instantaneously update their files. Meanwhile we're sitting here with our nethers flapping in the breeze. I did NOT authorize this upgrade and I'd really like to know how it happened.

EDIT: Thanks Fujim87, that did the trick, but now I have to launch the game through MO2 even though my mods are in NMM because the F4SE launcher, the new FO4 exe from this process and the F4SE launcher in NMM all launch Steam. Gotta do what works I guess.
