Enijasha
I am not really good at things like this but i take a ticket to try out. Hello everyone. I have dealt with the problem of the rate of fire of weapons. There was so much speculation about how this effect comes about. Personally, I had difficulty finding the problem with myself. It started when my weapons from Nuca World started to play the sound file wrong. So I was looking for the cause and did not find it. So I set out to find the problem myself based on my knowledge rather limited than really good. I never really thought that I could solve it for myself at least. After many test runs with the different solutions that have been offered, I've noticed that there's nothing wrong with the savegames. Regardless of how many times I started it and ended it, it had never loaded properly and the error persisted. By a coincidence I noticed that every time after a special video loaded everything worked as it should. I thought about it, tested again and finished the game, started it and waited for the different results. It was surprising and yet somehow not as it turned out that it was not the save's fault. Saves such as Exit Save function or similar occur in a variety of games. In Fallout it's no different. The game uses different saves that only differ in how often they are created. Quicksave, for example, is basically nothing more than the Exit Save which many condemn so prematurely. Let's take a look at this and you will see that you only have a difference in the number of saves and also in the name. The explanation for why it is not the save files. So what happens here? What exactly happened is that Fallout is unable to load all necessary engine within 8 seconds. The game is forced to load within this short time. This usually works without mods but with all the hardware requirements. But we all know that we can add more than 12 GB of game add-ons and often can not even read when the Friendly Mod authors say that there is something to keep in mind. However, so we load the whole game in a few seconds and expect our potatoes to do the same. It's the same as learning the book outside before you go to class within an hour. That will not do. Give the game time based on how strong your computer is. With me it is about 30 seconds I give the game to load. After that is done the game works better than before! I urge everyone to do the same and patience rather than despair immediately. Of course I can not guarantee that it works for you, but it is closer than other solutions that are available as an idea. For those who want to know exactly. It struck me as I looked at the title screen. After a closer look, I noticed that the picture has moved stuttering forward. After a few seconds, the background was finally good. That's not always the case. Sometimes it pretends to be so, just give time before you load! That should normalize your rate of fire like mine. I hope that people here can get more insight and some more can be helped with this little "mistake". I do not want to guarantee that it will help, but for me it is closer to a final solution than the reference to non-functioning savegames which in itself does not make much sense. Cthorthu
Yeeeess It has worked  This bug didn't let me enjoy some weapon mods. If a moderator sees this post, he can put it sticky, because it can help others. Thanks Jessica! Edited January 14, 2020 by Cthorthu
StormWolf01
Ok, so should we like, wait a minute or two before loading up a save file or something?
Zzyxzz
The only way to fix the bug temporarily is to save and reload. It doesn't matter how long you wait. As additional info, the bug only affects the display and the audio. Why the audio? Some mod authors tend to add different sounds to the weapon @different RPM. So in order to fix the sound bug, it's very easy. Open the weapon mod with the sound issue and delete all fire sounds, except one, which one you want to keep, and which matches the RPM. You will still have a wrong display of RPM, but the sound no longer change and you can call it "fixed"
