Slynfant
I am so utterly horrified to this date at the way you handle the spells in Skyrim / Oblivion / Morrowind, despite my great love for the games. I simply cannot enjoy the way you have to first select the spell, get it to your castbutton and cast it. I would like it just like it is in for example WoW - where you have a bar with all your spells, and you can choose which button sends which spells making it do so instantly when you press it. The "Favourites" in Skyrim simply doesn't cut it for me, I want to use up to ~15 different spells/shouts and I hate having to press Q, select which one for which hand and then be able to use it. I simply want to press a hotkey I've assigned to that spell and have my character cast it instantly from whatever hand I assigned it to. Whoever makes this mod for me and the community if there already isn't one (searched, couldn't find) I will pay 30$
GrindedStone
It's called the SWTOR mod an it's only 15 per month. lulz. You can't go around trying to pay for mods, it doesn't work that way. Look on the nexus downloads for a spells overhawl that's as close as you will get. But like my joke above, if you really dislike it that much, don't do magic, or play SWTOR instead. Slynfant
Why can't I go around trying to pay for mods? Isn't it significantly better to try to contribute with something to the modders instead of simply requesting mods hoping someone offers their time to do it for free
Lanceor
A mod to overhaul the hotkeying system would be at least a several dozen hours of work... maybe even several hundred. In terms of hourly rate, $30 would be a negligible financial incentive to work on your request. The best bet is to hope that someone sees your idea, likes it and decides to create something similar. netson
well what i think is that skyrim should have hotkeys like skyrim and spell instead of beeing equiped -.- should be used like lesser and greater powers by pressing z (or another key) just like you used to do in oblivion. ResolveThatChord
Paying for mods is a can of worms you don't want to open. Also $30 is an insult. Also you can hotkey anything in the favorites menu by pressing Q, highlighting the object/spell, and pressing the number key you want to assign it to. KMA
"Paying for mods is a can of worms you don't want to open." ROFL, tell that to Valve and Beth then! Slynfant - if you really want to commission a mod you should post a poll question asking how many others would donate if mod X were made. Do not include amounts, just see if there is interest for it. Supporting the mods you like is great, regardless of the amount.
Slynfant
Pretty obvious that I'm 100% clueless when it comes to modding. I simply thought it'd take some pro an hour or two to make a quick hotkey system. Didn't know that 30$ was an insult so, if someone wants to do this give me a price for it and I'll see if I can pay it
GrindedStone
you can hotkey anything in the favorites menu by pressing Q, highlighting the object/spell, and pressing the number key you want to assign it to. Not sure if you saw that above.
