sopmac45
so i massed up and install too many mods..aaaand ofcourse i got probs...how can i like reset and deleat all my mods..?? (so i could like mass it back again ? OCD level 198 Use NMM to deactivate / uninstall all of them. Entirely delete your game and mods from your computer, otherwise, if you do not do it and reinstall all mods again, you will CTD because all your mods files / game saves still will be in your computer and mixing old saves / files with new ones, definitely is not a good idea, so you have no other choice than to delete everything and reinstall the game and mods again. 1 - Reinstall the game from Steam2 - Start playing and make a hard save once you get out of the vault3 - Prepare your .ini files so you can mod your game ( Gopher has a good video )4 - Install few mods. According to your own input, you installed too many. I do not understand what is it that you want but if you want to try some mods and find out if you like them, why don't you install 5 by 5, play a bit and see if you like them? If you don't, delete them, delete your saved games with those mods and go back to your previous save before you installed those mods. Failure to do this, will CTD your game. Also, do not fall in the trap to download / install too many mods at once. That is a big mistake that will lead you to troubles only. Only install those that are related to your play style; download some, try them out and after you can add more if you want to. 5 - Before you install mods, read the description / posts and find out about load order / compatibilities with other mods ( I cannot stress how important this is )6 - Once you install your mods, CLEAN your game master files via FO4Edit 7 - Then, sort your mods via LOOT8 - If some mods needed to be in a different load order ( suggested by the mod author ), then manually place that mod where it is supposed to be.9 - Start playing with mods I think that Fallout 4 only accept 250 mods ( I do not know because I never had that many ) but there is no reason to have that many just for the fact it is what the game can take. Download only what you really need. Some features provided by mods are also acquired via console commands. If you do not know how to patch your game via FO4Edit and resolve conflicts between mods, then your best shot is to use LOOT and manually place in your load order according to the mod author's recommendation and also before installing a mod, READ the mod description and posts so you can find out very important information that you need to know before you install the mod. After almost 2 years playing this game, I finally learned ( I am still learning though ) how to patch my game and resolve conflicts. I only have 73 mods installed, plus some custom mods that I created for myself and my game is patched. No conflicts and no CTD's. In my first play through, almost 2 years ago, I downloaded 125. Never had the need to go for quantity but for quality, but I read a lot, I investigate, I research and that is your best friend because knowledge is always a good friend. If you want to learn more about it, watch the video located in WOTC ( War of the Commonwealth ). This is the video that I watched 3 times before starting to create my own mods and patch my game. The video is out there for everybody and it is very well explained by the author. After you watch that video, you will have a much better understanding about modding a game and what to expect. Good luck and happy gaming.
