Anya29
Add this to Skyrim.ini [Display]bShadowsOnGrass=0 And if you want to turn down other effects to make it run better in Skyrimprefs.ini add these [Display]bForceHighDetailGrass=0bGrassPointLighting=0bDrawShaderGrass=0bForceFullDetail=0bDoTallGrassEffect=0 Edited April 1, 2012 by Anya29

Like this: This is almost certainly a INI problem. To disable grass shadows, open Skyrim.ini and under display add [Display] bShadowsOnGrass=0 These may also help: SkyrimPrefs.ini[Display]bForceHighDetailGrass=0 bGrassPointLighting=0 bDrawShaderGrass=0 bForceFullDetail=0 bDoTallGrassEffect=0 If that doesn't work; Delete/backup Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini from your MyDocuments folder. Run the launcher, let it reset your settings. Edited April 1, 2012 by Morwyn Kelm
Anya29
If you're going to repost my comments, quote me. Like this: Why? I'm not using your post on here. I did a Google search on "bshadowsongrass=0" and found 2 different posts on different forums and used one of those. In fact "your" post above is identical to the one posted by Ramses on LL on the 23rd March and you are certainly not him. So you've copied his anyway. MorwynKelm
That is me on LL. Even still, you shouldn't quote a post without quoting the author. That's called plagiarism. This is my post: http://www.*site not allowed*/showthread.php?tid=6569 I would hardly call an ini setting for a game something that is plagiarized. Unless you wrote or entirely redid an ini then I think you are going to have to let this one go. I am however a bit tired of the arguments I seem to see from you Morwyn Kelm as I have run into them before. If you have a true issue with someone as you seem to think you had here, then you should report it. You don't get to engage in forum vigilantism as the ToS states and calling someone a liar among other things goes well beyond the bounds of perhaps having initial presented a complaint to them. So Strike 1 for you for forum vigilantism and if I run into anything else I may keep going. For the rest of you..enough of this. If I hear anything else about it even jokes I am going to start swinging the ban hammer.~Lisnpuppy Edited April 1, 2012 by Lisnpuppy
Anya29
That is me on LL. Even still, you shouldn't quote a post without quoting the author. That's called plagiarism. Are you 44 or 24 then, as both sites have different information. Anyway I haven't quoted your post as I have already said. Your post is the one identical the other by Ramses, mine only uses the ini lines that have been posted elsewhere on other websites.
MorwynKelm
My age, gender, etc. is not the issue. You're a liar and a plagiarist. Stop copying posts without quoting the author.

This is one of the most petty things I have ever seen. When I post something to help someone I don't care if they quote me when trying to help somebody else. What's the big deal? The idea is to help each other not to be a glory hound. Very pathetic and not what these forums are supposed to be about at all.
MorwynKelm
Dude, I asked him nicely to use quotes and not for me but for anyone. Then he tells me I ripped someone else's post which I didn't and proved him wrong. Its not petty, its ethics.

Maybe it's just me but I really don't see the big problem here. These forums are to help one another and like I said, I really don't care if people quote me word for word if in the end it helps someone who is having an issue with their game. I am not looking for credit, I'm just trying to be helpful. This just seems like such a non-issue to me. I'll just leave it at this, like everything else people have their own opinions and this is one of those times when we have a difference of opinion. No big deal and no hard feelings. Edited April 1, 2012 by Staind716
