Reeceizdabomb Posted April 1, 2012 Share Posted April 1, 2012 I tried erasing the shoulder spikes in ps then converting all the armor.dss files for example daedricarmor_m.dds, daedricarmor.dss and daedricarmor_n.dss. It hasn't worked at all, the spikes remain but are colourless any help would be appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ghosu Posted April 1, 2012 Share Posted April 1, 2012 (edited) Erasing parts of the DDS won't work...DDS files are just textures, the skin of the model - the spike itself is still there.In fact you have to extract the armor's NIF file from the meshes BSA archive (using FO3ArchiveUtility), import it to Blender or 3DsMax (using the NIF plugin), delete or edit these parts, reattach it to the skeleton using all skin modifiers and export it back as NIF - no easy thing for a beginner.
