EnaiSiaion
Hi, I have:Blender 2.49bNIF Scripts 2.5.5NIF Skope, latest versionPyFFI 2.1.5(I got the package off the Nexus, because the "latest version" of every tool does not work together) Anyway, I'm trying to follow this guide:http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_1 Extracting the femalebody_0 (the first one in the list) goes well, then modifying those numbers and deleting BSLightingShaderProperty goes well. Then I load the file into Blender and ValueError: invalid enum value (32) and only the underwear loads, nothing else. After some tinkering, I can get the file to load if I delete BSDismemberSkinInstance as well. So the body loads, I make a suspiciously cube-shaped armor and follow the workflow, then I get to the point where I need to paint weights "with respect to the bone yoy have selected in the Vertex Groups tab". The Vertex Groups tab is sadly empty. Further experimentation reveals that if I proceed with the bugged initial attempt where only the underwear loads, THEN there ARE vertex groups here. This would be useful if... I could see what I was doing because only the underwear loads. That error message tells me nothing and I have no clue wtf vertex groups are and why, so I'm kinda stuck at this point.Help? :wallbash:
Caithe
Do you have Python 2.6.6 installed? You should have Blender 2.49bPython 2.6.6PyFFI 2.1.11Blender Nif Scripts 2.5.8Nifskope 1.1.0-rc6 http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/Blender Edited April 2, 2012 by Caithe
EnaiSiaion
Looks like the package on the Nexus is outdated then and (technically not just Python but) PyFFI and the NIF Scripts need an update. Thanks!
