My mesh works! However...

Hi guys,

Just finally got my mesh working in the game without crashing, textures aside it's shaping up quite well. However I have this problem with the co-ordinance when it's equipped? it's appearing in this weird location that just looks like the default location i just happened to model it in in Blender, but in nifscope I've already adjusted the co-ordinance to where it needs to be corresponding to other power armours in the game.

The only thing I reckon it could be is that it's not mapped out to a skeleton, but I was always under the impression that the pieces of power armour were just mapped out to the location as to where they are on the the power armour frame, but if that's the case I'm lost as to how to do it.

If anyone could lend a hand that'd be great help,

Cheers!

It probably needs weighting, yeah, which I would turn to Outfit Studio to do.

They have a lot of tutorials for it (Outfit Studio comes with Body Slide), so should be fine.

Probably would copy the jetpack weights...though, honestly 100% sure what that is...but I think a backpack type thing...? So Iâm only guessing itâll be on the back of the PA...maybe?

You wouldn't happen to know the location of the PA skeleton through the B.A.E? It'd be a great help!

In Nifskope - file -> browse archive -> select Fallout4 meshes .BA2. In the search field type 'skeleton' .It will show you all the skeletons including the PA skeleton. If you need a copy, just select the required skeleton (double click) and then use 'save as'.
