oldsledneck
Tried to set everything up in drive D:Steam (1 TB Mushkin SSD) , and Vortex would not work on FO4, but it did detect FO3 and FONV. Reread everything on Forum page. I'm uninstalling Vortex and starting over. More later.
Bassad
I would have to check the vortex description again, but iirc Vortex needs the mods to be on the same drive
AWP3RATOR
I would have to check the vortex description again, but iirc Vortex needs the mods to be on the same drive I have a setup where Vortex is on C:\ and my games are on E:\ a separate physical drive. When setting FO4, I was warned about it, and the settings allowed me to walk through changing some path settings, such that the Vortex data folders were on the same physical drive (E:\ in my case) as the game. I believe this was called the "hardline" option. I'm now importing my mods from MO2 for Fallout 4 - seems to be going well.

I'll put on C and go from there. Thanks for reply!
