Jedlock01
I'm trying to replicate FAEMA House in Miami. Unfortunately I can't get the verandahs quite right as the 45 and 90 degree curves and floor section simply don't lend them these to smooth lines. Can anyone help me out? The floor plans are easy enough if very time and resource intensive but the true beauty of this building are the verandahs. Also note the pool deck....a half wall would also be very nice. Help please. see attached for an idea of what I'm banging on about. If someone knows or could build a mod to help IT WOULD BE greatly appreciated. In the mean whilst I'll crack on. BTW I'm only going to 7 stories not the full 18.
Jedlock01
ALSO....22.5 degrees, that's what works best for roofing but check this out when used as a basis..... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NOf6Vz4esYw/UGgc7VVJGKI/AAAAAAAAAiA/44h6bOvmBL0/s1600/2012-05-04T200535Z-1-CBRE8431JTE00-RTROPTP-3-US-TRAVEL-PICKS-TOP-10-UGLY-BUILDINGS-TO-VISIT-jpg_062818.jpg it's bloody ugly but you get it right...different yes Edited February 5, 2018 by Jedlock01
jkruse05
I think you could get close using a combination of Snappy HouseKit (with its addons) and Snap 'n Build. Between the two of them they have both curved and angled floors of varying designs. In the end though, I think you're gonna have to get creative with Place Everywhere and clip a few pieces into each-other.
