SallalePop
I'm looking for some help on how to tweak my settings for the best performance on my PC. A quick "how-to" would be great or if there are any mods for it feel free to point me in that direction. I'm pretty new at this so any help would be appreciated. :D Here's my specs: Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.vistasp1_ldr.101014-0432)BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PGProcessor: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHzRAM:2.0 GB / 4.0 GB (max) 667.0 MHzCard name: ATI Radeon HD 3450Chip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x95C5)DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz) Pretty basic computer. I'm assuming this is the place to post this?
GomuGomu64
I'm going to be blunt. Your GPU is s***. Vista ain't great, and your CPU is meh (I got a similar E6700 3.2GHZ). I assume that this compy is either V.Old or a laptop. Methinks that your GPU is AGP, so your motherboard's also AGP. Your out of luck, unless you get semi-decent framerates on Medium. Then I can help you :

Then I can help you :3I can run it very well with medium texture quality and other settings set to low. If I lower the resolution I can get mid rate FPS on complete medium settings. It's not as bad as you make it out to be. I'm just looking for some mods or pointers on how to get the framerate up, basically. I was looking to get SkyBoost but that has not been updated to the newest version of Skyrim yet. Know of anything similar? Hope that helps, I guess. Arbabender
Well, once patchmania finishes, I'd suggest looking up Skyboost. It's made by the creator of ScriptDragon and it can improve your framerate by up to 20-25. sometimes even more. It's really dependent on your system, but it's also well worth a look, but Alexander is waiting on a properly stable patch to resume work on it. Thanks for the tip. Hopefully he can work some magic with the latest patch, though I realize that no one wants to constantly rework a mod every time a patch shows up. Crossing my fingers.
