Transient3292
I've searched around, but has anyone succesfully used fnis without moving their game folder out of program files 86? I understand the benefits of moving the folders, but I've spent about a week getting my mods and game working perfectly . fnis and a couple dependant mods were the last ones I want to use, but I am not going to spend another week troubleshooting. just wanted to ask here in case others have gotten it working using the default install location. Algabar
The disclaimer says you COULD get in trouble, if Skyrim is installed to the standard directory on your system drive (C:\program files (x86). This means, you'd better not ask for help or even complain, if it doesn't work. "You have been warned....". That being said, nothing prevents you from trying. Installing FNIS and one or two animation mods won't take that long. If you're lucky, everything will work fine. If it doesn't - well, you know your options then... In the long run, you definitely should consider moving your game folder - not only for Skyrim, but also for any other game you may have installed on your system drive. I know, it's somewhat frustrating, because nobody told you when you installed your game... But if you want to enjoy Skyrim for a longer time without having to worry about "access denied" issues, moving is the only way...
