ObliviousParticle
I don't know if this goes here but I have no clue where else it could go... Anyways, I am sorry if this might be newbish or whatever but Wrye Bash or whatever has an import face function so you can move 1 face from a save to another save. But see I don't care to move an existing face of one of my characters to another saved character, what I am wondering is if I can put my character's face onto an NPC that I can place into the game so any new save game I make will have that NPC(which looks like one of my characters) in it... So like as a random example, I take one of my characters' faces and make a new NPC with that character's face and put them somewhere like the market district, then I make a new character and then I go to the market district with my new character and see the NPC(which looks like a character from one of my other saves) standing where I put them. Some people have uploaded their characters as CM companions, so I would assume it is possible, can anyone explain to me how to do what I am explaining? kingtitan
Well the good news is that it is possible, I have done it before.Unfortunately tho, the bad news is that wyre (for some reason or another) has decided to stop working for me and I can't for the life of me remember how to do it. It has something to do with right clicking on a save game and importing? the face to a custom .esp that wyre creates (you can move the npc easily to another plugin though). Sorry for the basic nature of the post, but that's all I can remember.
Mglordsgeelwolf
the only i can think of is to use the elder scrolls construction set and add a new npc to the game you will have to make your characters face from scratch and add all the things you will want them to do. Or of course if you want a companion go throught cm partners theres a read me in on of the cm partners downloads that explains how to do it. Lanceor
Yes, it's quite easy to import a face from a save file into a mod. Using Wrye Bash, go to the mods tab. Right click on your mod's esp and select Import > Face. Then select the save file of the player character's face you want to import. Your mod will then have an NPC with that face that you can edit and place in the game world as you see fit. :)

I think another user explained it too, but their response wasn't exactly as easily understandable as your response was.

However, as I said, wyre bash has stopped working for me, so it was physically impossible for me to provide a better description than the one I provided. Apologies.
