ravayen Posted February 9, 2018 Share Posted February 9, 2018 As the title says i really want to build a settlement in that pond area at boston commons and i can never get conquest to play nice with my mods, it's already fenced off and the fence could be the build limit, nice area for skirmishes and not to mention that that area is a bit of a blank spot when it comes to settlements desperately in need of patrols ehem i mean provisioners. montky Posted February 9, 2018 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Hi there;it would be a nice area for a settlement/base.there's a few ways to accomplish that.user BigandFlabby released a prototype of a settlement area there,as part of their streamlining of the CBD area.The mod author of Red Rocket Settlements, also made a prototype of Swan's Pond area. alternately, you can make a settlement there in the CK,or using place-anywhere, you can build a 'para-settlement'. speedynl Posted February 13, 2018 Share Posted February 13, 2018 some reasons why no 1 ever made a settlement thereits mid boston a pain to work with in CKbraking the pre combined make it even more laggie then beforethe cells belong to that location don't fit inside the fences(you have to make xxx build boxes to get it decent)it have a ton of boss random encountersyou have to clear the radiation zones, and make everything scrap ableect ect you want a settlement there, start learning to work with the CK and make your own 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ravayen Posted March 2, 2018 Author Share Posted March 2, 2018 (edited) Hate to be THAT guy and sound like a douche but this is the mod 'REQUESTS' forum for people like me that either don't have time/skills/will to make big mods like that and are either too lazy or too scared to make a settlement mod of their own i'm a little of both which is why i came to the mod requests forum to 'request' a mod rather than the modding tutorials forum where i could learn how to do it myself so 'Learn geck' really wasnt the right answer for this forum.That and for some reason installing the geck messes my game and mods up by altering my registry and i have absolutely no idea why :( Edited March 2, 2018 by ravayen Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
