Connor1099
Summary: I'm planning to use the following mod guides:Graphics: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76373/?Gameplay/Immersion/other: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77928/? As well as a few others, such as new land or follower mods of personal preference. I seem to have a fairly hard time running my game modded as it is (which is just about 2/3 of the graphics list) with only about <30 fps. I would like to know if I need to upgrade my PC, how much I should upgrade, costs of said hardware, links, etc. Feel free to ask for clarification/ more information. I just really want to know what I should do before I blow unnecessary cash on new parts. tejano2828
Looking at that list... then looking at your 1 GB video card I can tell you it will probably crash your PC. I have about that many mods maybe more and most of those visual graphics he suggests plus enband when I run skyrim performance monitor I am using average 3gb of vram while out and about. I would try to upgrade the Video card to 4gb+ and get an SSD it helps the transfer. I don't know much about AMD graphics card but If you are going to stick with amd I would get a comparable card tothe Nvidia GTX 980 I have a core I7 5770K 16gb ram, a nvidia gtx 1080 with a 500gb SSD looking at my data folder it's 65gb large so I have over 300 mods installed not all have plugins. Usually run around 60fps it's capped and I run Project ENB..... Looking at your system it will need some upgrades if you want to run all those mods on that list. tho your CPU is fine. upgrade your video card,,,,anywhere from 400-700Upgrade to SSD Samsung 500gb SSD runs around 170get a bit more ram ,,,,cheap Just personal preference here but if you are going to run an Intel I suggest a Nvidia productI've built both systems tho dropped ati/amd long ago ati/amd intel/nvidia you should be fine ...don't know the costs sorry. Connor1099
Thanks! Hopefully I can figure everything out price-wise on my own. You have no idea how much of a headache it is trying to figure out all the info about upgrading PCs when you've never done that before.
tejano2828
No problem I've been building them for a while so I know how it is. If you are going to buy a new Video card....tread lightly the cryptocurrency iskilling the video card prices...google it and you will find out. lots of price gouging try tohuntdown some video cards straight from the manufactuer or you will pay hundreds abovemsrp. viceres
You should definitely upgrade your GPU especially if you want to use an ENB mod. Everything else should be fine.
