Im going to attempt to move my heavily modded skyrim se to a new PC and I was wondering if anyone has tried it. Here is what I am going to do. 1. Download and install Steam on new PC 2. Download and install vortex on new PC 3. Copy Steam /common folder of Skyrim to new PC 4. Copy Vortex game library of Skyrim to new PC 5. Copy my documents skyrim saves to new PC If anyone has tried this please give me some insight as I have a feeling it's not going to work. Thanks.

Would like to request a follower I already tried messing with creation kit to make other mods and failed at it so I know making a follower would be a disaster for me. IF someone has a patreon let me know if you make followers. Thanks

After finding Valerica and getting the elder scroll and get back to Dawnguard you can use AFF and recruit her. You can't let go of her until you are able to get her to "wait" but you don't have to complete every quest.

I followed a guide on how to use the ningheim race in SE and it works but I am having trouble with BHUNP 3BBB I followed the authors directions on how to first create the body and then open it up in outfit sudio and dump it into the ninghei m race female folders ....I did that But when I go in game I lose the sliders for BHUNB morphs in racemenu. I then take the games female meshes and put them back in Ningheim race and now I have slidier support. Does anyone have a guide for custom races?

Hello guys..... Im getting very close to wanting to revert back to 1.57 I should of been in touch with the modding community but I have become an investor and it takes up most of my time but I miss Skyrim and I decided to load up SE and the new SKSE without reading and getting in here and finding out what was going on. Add to that I started downloading mods and now Im getting a lot of broken stuff...yes I should of known better. For those of you who have reverted back from 1.6.323 to 1.57...is it a rough transition. I only have 165 mods and I hear I have to check all of them to see which have been updated for example ABT AE was updated recently to be compatible with AE (btw I don't have AE Im' still on SE but I got the 1.6.323 update lucky me) So I have to uninstall ABTAE and go back to before all this happened with all the mods that have been updated recently? I went into the mod in Nexus se and people are having problems but it's because they have like 300+ mods...also do I have to start a new game or can I just continue? Thanks

I don't remember LE having the dizzing amount of requirements for character presets but my question is Do you really have to download all those requirements for character presets? I mean some need like 5 to 8 requirements and they are all different. I uploaded a character preset without having any of the requirements and the preset loaded fine. Some even say "hard" requirement. Is this just so you get the look "exactly" like the pictures and will this cause problems in your "player" character ?

I have 600 esm esps but only 255 are activated....the rest are merged I'm sure he's doing the same thing. I plan to hit 1000 esps see what happens..or could be he/she is using SE version I believe that allows for more but not sure since I don't use SE.

I have 389 mods installed that's 389 esps.....merged I have 252 esps activated....so yes I know the limits and I know what I am doing.

There was a time when the first thing people said when you were having problems with your load order, general gameeplay was RUN LOOT!! well I say no thanks. About all it's good for is finding out which mods have dirty edits other than that it's more trouble than it's worth. I have over 400 mods installed there is no way I'll let Loot sort out my loot order I have several merge plugins and mods from overseas I doubt if it will run. LOOT has become obsolete it's 2019 afterall lots of mods aren't even being updated. I say learn your load order and manage it yourself probably be off better I haven't used loot in over 2 years.

I'm not even sure which file is causing this headache but I know one of these is it. My E: drive crashed today hard, couldn't revive it. I immediately launched NMM and sure enough it gives me some error Missing tera armors click yes to locate directory or click NO to uninstall. I close everything go in game and there are the armors. SO apparently my Skyrim still launches fine. I am not sure how to fix this. I can't launch NMM anymore because when I click uninstall it just continues to tell me that for so many other mods to uninstall them that will kill my game. If I click "YES" it just shows me where I have all my mods installed and when I click "OK" it just gives me the same error as above. The good thing is I have every mod I have ever wanted installed and my game runs smoothly. The bad news looks like Nexus Mod Manager is dead to me. I have this OS on another SSD exact same copy. I tried installing MO2..no dice because I have many mergeplugins, Dual sheathe redux patch, Wrye bash and it does not want to work. I tried Vortex same thing. Looks like this Skyrim is done and I will get another SSD and start a new playthrough. Any Idea how to fix this? Can I delete the user.config file and have it use a different one? When I go where the user.config files at there are 6 of them with differen dates...which one does Skyrim use? the lastest? bummer.

Doing a quick search on that mod in the forum thread brings up tons of problems with "flickering" I say not worth it, mods that conflict with other areas imho are worthless.

First of all understand that mods will cause glitches in Skyrim I once had glitches on water because a plugin and a texture mod were glitching. You can install 20 pure texture mods like the ones that just overlap over files...and then you have texture mods that have a plugin. My advice to you if you "really" want to get rid of this glitch is to uncheck plugins that A. Affect terrain B. Weather mods and then go check if the flickering continues. The other mods that could be causing this is for example like the 4k texture mods that affect terrain those you have to in manually and override them with the default terrain files.....you might be s*** out of luck in that case GL. Let me give you some advice. Get a second SSD (or first) and always have a backup of your OS with a good working copy of Skyrim if you want to save the hassle of always trying to fix Skyrim. Has saved me many times. I also use Rudy enb and I get no flickering..have you tried disabling the enb and then checking if it still persists? If so you might want to get with the creator of the ENB see if he can give you any solutions.

2 things...you might have 2 different terrain textures overlapping themselves so look at your mod order or any graphical overhauls. second.....try capping your FPS at 60 ....FPS above 60 like maybe 90 FPS will cause flickering.

Hope you got an SSD and a GPU with enough ram to run mods because before you know it you'll be at 255 mod limit or beyond it.

Type in M.2's overheating in google and let me know what you find. To say that M.2 memory has an overheating problem is not overstating what is currently a reality. Type in Mod organizer problems with Skyrim and let me know what you also find....nothing is problem free NOTHING. But getting an SSD for as cheap as 57 dollars for 500gb is well worth the headache of reinstalling your OS. This thread isn't about M.2 memory or about MO2 or even about Nexus Mod Manager IT'S about saving your OS from the hassle of it breaking on you because of Skyrim....Your game is not safe by just installing MO2 if you think that way then you are delusional.

#1. Get a SSD and change out your HD #2. Get a second SSD and backup your OS/SKyrim When your Skyrim dumps on you get out your good backup Skyrim and load it back up. Trust me from someone who has been modding ES games since Morrowind. Some of these issues you guys are having are unsolvable so the easiest recourse is to just reinstall with your back up SSD....in the end it will save you countless hours of reinstalls plus it lets you experiment with setups without the fear of breaking your #$#$.

Your tech looks like it can handle pretty much any enb but I will tell you. Some ENB's are so extensive like Snapdragon enb or Tetrachromatic that all they are good for is taking screenshots and then swapping them out for one you can game play with. I use a ENB swapping tool where I can swap between enb's in like 2 minutes but that is kinda of advanced as it can give you problems..... Here is a great video that shows you differences.. I'm not even kidding here but it took me almost a year to finally settle down and get my 2 enbs working perfectly and that is Rudy enb and Snapdragon enb. My advice for you is to do some research and once you get your enb running download "skyrim performance monitor" and check out the numbers to make sure your PC is running fine. If I give you some of enb's that I've used in the past it would do you no good since it's all personal preference. But here are the ones that I have used with great results.....Realvision, Project ENB, Rudy ENB and Snapdragon. If you want to see some of my photos look at my profile and go to my images. I bet if you disable USLEEP the game runs fine. I never liked USLEEP Why don't you try that. In that case just uninstall USLEEP and install the patches one by one won't hurt. With a list that small you should be able to troubleshoot this list pretty easily. Once you reach 255 mods then you should worry about crashes.
