Got any suggestions?

I think fishing is pretty great also  (though I have never been fishing in the ocean).

I suppose some time consuming and pretty creative you could give a shot could be building small motorized vehicles from junkyard parts. I always though it would be neat to build a something like that yourself and if you can pick up some neat looking parts from a scrap yard you may feel inspired to put them together. Parts from scrapyards shouldn't cost too much either. I remember I had a primary school teacher who told the class about a student who was very mechanically inclined but had a rough time with standard subjects. Apparently he was able to build his own little vehicle to drive it to school every day. Doing something like this could be a fun project. I don't know if it would interest you but I thought it would be worth mentioning since you said you liked working on bikes and it is another suggestion.

Wasn't aware Croation guys were being used over there to be honest. I am aware that America likes using NZ, British, Aussie troops but hadn't read anywhere about Croations being used.

Sorry, I could of sworn I read in the previous thread you were getting noobs to lead.

And I also wasn't aware ether that troops with minor injurys were shipped back home and stepping on a land mine and not having your legs blown off, have to hand it to you mate, you got luck of the irish.

So incrediably lucky, maybe you should take a lotto ticket you actually might win a incredable ammount of money too.

@Flintlockecole Well that's an interesting pillow.

@BeyondTom Improvised vehicles, I've been making them for years. Though I get parts for those by asking my friends about broken lawnmowers and chainsaws. The only thing I need is an engine and I'll make something out of it. The only bad thing is that making and/or driving these kinds of vehicles is illegal here.

@dunmermaiden It wasn't a minor injury, my left hand is busted and for a sniper that shoots over 1500 meters that means I'm out of buisness untill I get better. I need my left hand to stabilize the rifle while aiming and for keeping it in place during shooting and I can't do any of those.

And yeah, Croatia has troops there as well, all in all around 200 men. Mostly rookies, just out of training, thinking that war is awesome and great. What they don't know is that most of them will end up lying dead in that godforsaken place. That's how awesome and great the war is.

@SimpleGlitch Well, I really need to take pills, otherwise I'd probably kill someone. The pills I take help me control myself, without them I tend to snap at little things, like breaking a guy's arm because he tried to cross the line in the supermarket.

The martial arts, I'm trained in unarmed combat, but in my training, killing an opponent silently in a few moves is a preferable option. What can I say, military training. And I'm afraid to increase that skill further, mostly due to lack of self-control.

Pills for me were just an example, some people really need them others they don't cooperate will with them :/. Anyway as far as martial arts goes, I would suggest more of a sport martial art, opposed to something self-defense or combat oriented (like Taekwondo with a focus on forms or Tai Chi), and you would be surprised by the self-control that results from it.

But from what you said fishing/diving sounds like the best place to start out to see if it helps... maybe try practicing mediation while you fish since the relaxation from fishing is already close to that of meditation, then from the train your brain to be able to "mimic" the relaxation you get from fishing when you need it.

Good luck
