Kimberlee
SO - - I am unable to adjust my load order or indeed so anything other than launch FO3 using FOMM, which is strange as I am using the new version from here - http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/640. Im using Windows Vista Home Premium and have used it with my disc copy before with no problems. When the game is launched, there are no problems and it runs smoothly, I just cannot use the package manager to get FOMODS working. Here is what the crashdump says... Wednesday, April 04, 2012 - 11:58:40 PMFomm 0.13.21OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 System.ArgumentException: File format is not valid. at System.Windows.Forms.RichTextBox.StreamIn(Stream data, Int32 flags) at System.Windows.Forms.RichTextBox.StreamIn(String str, Int32 flags) at System.Windows.Forms.RichTextBox.set_Rtf(String value) at Fomm.MainForm.LoadPluginInfo() at Fomm.MainForm.lvEspList_SelectedIndexChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.OnSelectedIndexChanged(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.WmReflectNotify(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ListView.WndProc(Message& m) at L0ki.Controls.ReordableItemListView.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) I am far out of my league trying to figure this out.... Thanks in advance for any help.
Tytanis
Fix #1--------- Get a bottle of ketchup. Carefully lace your computer fans with it. Next, apply mustard to your RAM. Start your computer up and eat it. Fix #2--------- Use an older version which can be found here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/fomm/files/

Kimberlee
Installing the mod folder in a separate directory didnt work. I hate when this happens. http://i.imgur.com/IPZT5.png That sums it up perfectly.
Fonger
Kimberlee you are batting 1000 are you certain you didn't kill somebody's relative or pet recently?? your computer problems are better than a science fiction novel's plot ok, experimentally abandon FOMM and move over to NMM don't bother trying to launch FO3 from NMM, launch FO3 the old fashioned way and just for lulz --- confirm that FO3 is outside UAC domination (if you don't know this by now . . . :wallbash: )
