Did Windows 10 Updates Break Fallout games?

It seems no matter how I run Fallout 3 or New Vegas for that matter, they both crash randomly, for no apparent reason.

A few months ago, I was able to run both of these games with little to no crashing after a few hours. NV was the easier one to stabilize, however it seems that's simply not the case anymore. And when I mean stabilize, I mean no crashing, at all. Sure, there's FPS drops in Freeside and The Strip, but it didn't randomly crash. Am I the only one to feel these problems or is this for everyone with Windows 10 Updates and such?

I'd post my load order for FO3, but I uninstalled it after it crashed repeatedly while I headed to the Project Purity door via the walkway, killing supermutants and such.

If you don't know about FO3, I'm making a post for NV on the exact same thing, with my load order.

Help would be appreciated, or even just people who have the same problem. Thanks for reading, either way.

The most stable thing I did was stop using MMM. Somehow it makes FO3 unstable, even with Blacken'ed compat patches. I had FWE, PB, MMM, EVE, and WMK, plus the compat bridge patches from Blacken'ed and FOIP. It crashes every 15 minutes or so. And Liberty Prime mission was impossible to finish. It walked in front of the bridge to Project Purity, and instant CTD.

I started a brand new game, using PB, EVE, and "Custom Beginnings" (V1.8 on NMA) plus a load of other mods, cleaned the official DLC ESMs, and only recently (after I loaded a bunch of TSC/MSZ mods) did it got slightly unstable when switching gamespaces or quitting the game. Before I loaded MSZ it was stable as a rock.

If you're using the stutter remover you need to open the sr_Fallout_Stutter_Remover.ini with notepad and change bHookCriticalSections = 1 to bHookCriticalSections = 0 the ini can be found in Data\fose\plugins.
