Hi! Does anyone got killed after speaking with jarl Balgruuf?

1st time in Dragonsreach to report the Helgen dragon attack.

2: Dialogues: normally.

3; Followed Balgruuf to Farengar's offie and, in front of that my character got killed by lightning???

No beam, just lightning around the body.

 

I also tried get in that room using the tcl console command and went up dead again.

 

Weird as well is this: After reload went back in Dragonsreach, spoke with Irileth and got straight to Farengar's office. Went in and out 2 or 3 times (without talking w him).

After that no more sudden death.

 

Any ideas or explanation would be very much appreciated.

do you have an older version of hammet's Dungeons pack installed. i remember having a problem in a few vanilla dungeons where i would get super zapped, it sucked. i never could find out what was doing it but it went away for me and i remember someone in the forums for hammets dungeon mod thinking it was from early version of that mod. i know 100% the last update for that mod definitely doesn't zap you

Sorry I'm not an English speaker, and I'll not use one of those pathetic translator machines.

The answer to your question: No. I don't.

Just quit the game, reinstall with less few mods.

But got scared, you know!? I'll do a save very time I went there, just in case.

I have no idea why that happened. Even tried increase life (to 750) via CC. Didn't died, but that took something like 100 points.

Now I do have what I think LOD issues, and try to fix them.

i understand the being scared and saving in particular location, i had this bug a year ago in dark water crossing cave and i usually still make save there even though i have not experienced invisible lightning runes there for a long time

My game is NOT in the C:/Programe files (86)/Steam/Steamapps/..., but in another drive, so it's aspected that the game go a little slow at least when start.

The mods that I uncheked und deleted were:

Qaxe Questorium (1, 2, 3).

I though this one (pretty cool one), was to much for my PC.

Now I got LOD issues and CTD in random areas, even after walking (not Fast Travel).

I don't get what I'm doing wrong.

About 2 years ago in other PC I got something like 180 mods and only CTD (fast travel Fort Dawnguard-Windhelm docs-boat to Ravenrock, and comeback; or Fort Dawnguard_Markarth), and that was rare...

start a new game without Quax and check dragonsreach, i think you'll be boomless

i reread your comment, it sounds like your not suffering from lightning shock anymore, think Quax Questorium was your culprit.

 

as far as ctd goes, im no expert but i always think of nav mesh problem, you have a mod in your load order that is called " the iron lass" that's the basnpc.esp i remember that mod having bad nav mesh outside of a dungeon or tomb or something. there is a few mods in your load order i dont know of, like farchy long house. i would suggest to start a new game with only mods you know that dont addnew locations like iron lass and probably farchy long house and even without the atlas map marker, wild hunch, and ctd should hopefully be gone and then a few 2-3 mods at a time till you find culprit. it doesnt look like you have any mods that add LOD's.

for the record, i kinda thought i was helping with dragonsreach problem, but i think we can figure out your ctd problem

Hello!

Just read your post.

ENB... I don't think so. Unless it's in some mod. I don't really care about ENBs n stuff like that. Not fancy about animations, armor mods, etc.

I like: follower/companion mods w small quest; expansions and new lands, and other kind of stuff...

FachryLongHouse is the .esm for Succubus Lair by fachry. I haven't yet the chance to try it.

I was also curious about the Iron Lass: but first she was bold, uninstalled. Tried again, still no hair and she "lost" her body".

During the weekend I'll uninstall and make a fresh one following your suggestion. Thanks again.

Meanwhile I'm having fun in Enderal. No issues so far.
