Omny
I haven't been able to get Fallout 3 to run ever since I got my new laptop, which runs on 64-bit Windows 7. I turn the game on, and it only gets to the "PLEASE STAND BY" slide before crashing to desktop. I've tried downloading drivers, tweaking the compatibility of the files, and banging my head against the keyboard- none of it worked. I tried going to "Can You Run It", and it says my computer passes every test... except my video card, which is an Intel® HD Graphics Family. Which is ridiculous because I can run Skyrim and New Vegas just fine, and they use the same engine as Fallout 3 (oddly enough, "Can You Run It" says I can't run Skyrim or New Vegas either). Am I missing something? Perhaps a friendly modder out there has picked up Bethesda's slack and made a mod to fix this?
Fonger
there was a couple of threads about this 2-4 months ago and it was solved now for creative searching in the forum on how its done.

Omny
^Funny, I actually discovered that just minutes after posting this. It was a good thing it was on the front page too, because I really didn't know where to begin with searching.
