TheCaptn
I've installed the manual version of Vortex because I'd like my mods archived on D:\, not on C:\ which is my SSD. The program runs at first, but the moment I click the button to log in I get the error "Application not found": If I then click on 'ok' I get a more detailed crash dialogue titled "Exited with code 1", with an option to send in a report and quit: But if I click on "Report and Quit" then the crash dialogue itself ALSO crashes: It's got me stumped. Any thoughts?
MysteriousGuy
You can install Vortex on C and still manage and install mods on D. Check for download path and install path:
simsrw73
What is you default browser in Windows? What happens if you change it?
ipman98
Try switching your default browser to Firefox. This worked for a friend of mine. Also, You can install Vortex on C:\ and still manage and install mods on an another drive. Vortex itself will only take roughly around 220MB. By the way, my C drive is also on a SSD. I use Vortex from that drive and use another drive for mods.
TheCaptn
Try switching your default browser to Firefox. That worked... I guess after all these years I'm making the switch back to Firefox. Chrome was the default previously, which you can see in the screenshots. No idea why it wasn't working with Vortex though. simsrw73
Chrome works fine. Try switching back. If that doesn't work, look in Vortex SETTINGS on the Downloads tab. There is a Fix for Chrome. Make sure Chrome is closed first before applying the Fix.
