warriorpoetex
- Will Vortex come with a per-Profile .ini editor? - Will Vortex be able to extract .bsa and .ba2 files much like MO was able to create a loose file install? - Will we get alternative layout functions to be more reminiscent of Mod Organizer vs the more Windows 10 application bar Vortex currently looks like? - I believe you've said yes to this, but will ask again just encase. There plan on being individual file hiding/removal within a mod in Vortex? - Will mods be able to be flagged to appear in the Mods list for only a certain Profiles to avoid them showing up in the Mods list unless otherwise changed in Status? - I know you've said manual load order "ordering" and disabling of the notifications as a whole are something you are not going to do. I just hope your mind changes on these. - Having notifications show up in the Windows 10 notifications also is WAY too much. Please remove this feature as it is just a ton of unnecessary clicking. - Plan on having a quick link from a Mod in the mod list to their Nexus website? An icon along the left side before the Enable/Disable Button or along the right after the Remove/Reinstall button?
kamikatze13
- Will Vortex be able to extract .bsa and .ba2 files much like MO was able to create a loose file install? pretty sure that's a no - extracting BSAs is regarded as an invention of the devil for various reasons (let's not go there) so i'm pretty sure we'll get an equivalent of MO's BSA-loosefiles-conflict-recognition without the need of extraction. HardwareSc8
- Will Vortex come with a per-Profile .ini editor? - Dunno, but wouldn't surprise me - Will Vortex be able to extract .bsa and .ba2 files much like MO was able to create a loose file install? - No. Tannin has said that was the worst mistake he made with MO, and the mod authors who have spoken up about the issue seem almost universally opposed to the idea - Will we get alternative layout functions to be more reminiscent of Mod Organizer vs the more Windows 10 application bar Vortex currently looks like? - There is a capability sort of like MO's stylesheets already in; you can change colors, etc., but the base layout stays the same like with the various stylesheets - there's a picture around here somewhere where I have all the text in my Vortex in Klingon... - I believe you've said yes to this, but will ask again just encase. There plan on being individual file hiding/removal within a mod in Vortex? - Yes, it will be in, just has not been implemented yet - Will mods be able to be flagged to appear in the Mods list for only a certain Profiles to avoid them showing up in the Mods list unless otherwise changed in Status? - Dunno, but add me to the list of people who like the idea - I know you've said manual load order "ordering" and disabling of the notifications as a whole are something you are not going to do. I just hope your mind changes on these. - Not even going to touch this one; it's already been more than answered elsewhere - Having notifications show up in the Windows 10 notifications also is WAY too much. Please remove this feature as it is just a ton of unnecessary clicking. - Wow...I hadn't even noticed I had that many notifications; I tend to ignore that bar... - Plan on having a quick link from a Mod in the mod list to their Nexus website? An icon along the left side before the Enable/Disable Button or along the right after the Remove/Reinstall button? - There actually already is, it's just buried on the metadata double-click tab Hope that's maybe a little helpful... warriorpoetex
Hope that's maybe a little helpful... I am aware of the double-click feature. Just was hoping for one that is not so buried before more menus. :)
