IosefKoranison
I don't know if this is being caused by a mod I have installed or if it's a vanilla skyrim issue. But since I have the xpmsse and fnis installed I thought I'd ask here first. I have Lydia, Inigo, and Vilja as followers. I have CBBE, CBP, XPMSSE, FNIS. FNIS Sexy Move, animated dragon wings, flying mod beta, convenient horses, and probably other mods that could be affecting this. I'm not sure how to get a full list of all the mods I have installed or what my load order is, but I'm happy to provide that if someone will show me how. What's happening is when my followers unsheathe their weapons and aren't doing an idle animation they sometimes stand like this: I tried multiple google searches for posing glitches or followers holding things weird or back bent wrong or whatever. But I'm not very good at searching for things like this. I know how buggy vanilla skyrim can be, but I didn't know how else to figure this out. If they put there weapons away they stand normally. And if they go into an idle animation like rolling the shoulders they stand normally. But they immediately go back into this pose when the animation finishes. I've also noticed that they're not running right either. Running in place or moving forward very slowly while running at full speed. I saved while being on a horse, and when my save loads my character gets off of the horse without me telling it to, so maybe it's related to that? it doesn't stop them from moving around as far as I can tell. And I'm pretty sure the combat works okay, too. They're just standing weird. If there's any other information you need please let me know. Thank you for your time! cifer499
Did you ever find out a fix for this? My version of Vilja does the same thing whenever combat is initiated, and it's quite frustrating.
stark0722
I also have this bug. I have only used Inigo so far for a follower. Im using Immersive Citizens, 360 Walk run, Convenient Horses, UNP, Tempered Skins and Ordinator. I have some other mods but doubt they would be the culprits as they are mostly armor and texture mods. It seemed to have started after I started the Convenient Horses quest but I havent really done any testing yet. Im using the newest version of CH. If anyone has any advice or solution it would be greatly appreciated.
IosefKoranison
I had someone suggest that I go into NMM and click the reinstall button on xpmsse, then run LOOT, then run FNIS. I've never used LOOT before so it took me a bit to figure it out. I've also been busy so I didn't have a lot of time to get to it. But I finally did all that earlier today and there was no change. I know that they can probably still move and fight like they need to, but I don't want to make a new save until I figure out how to fix this. For all I know it could cause more problems. I also have Ordinator, and I did have 360 Walk Run (not the FNIS version, there was a separate one I found before I was using FNIS) installed before. I also had Joy of Perspective installed at one point. I just wish I knew more about modding... I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one having this issue! Sucks though xD
Grimolfr
This is only a guess, but do you have any Oldrim -> SSE conversion mods with animations? It might be an animation that wasn't converted, or wasn't converted properly.
IosefKoranison
This is only a guess, but do you have any Oldrim -> SSE conversion mods with animations? It might be an animation that wasn't converted, or wasn't converted properly. The only files from Oldrim I have are for an outfit mod. And I don't even use it because I couldn't get it to work. But I can uninstall it and see if that changes it. *edit* That didn't fix it. But maybe I need to delete some files? I don't know how to fix all this. stark0722
I started a new game without Convenient Horses 7 and no animation bug. Finally bought vanilla horses and no problem. Installed CH and Inigo and I mounted up, I drew my weapon and sheathed it while mounted then dismounted. Draw weapons and Inigo started the bend. Not sure what the conflict is but my suspects are Immersive Citizens, Cutting Room Floor or ?.
IosefKoranison
I don't have immersive citizens or cutting room floor. I wonder the conflict is. Convenient Horses and skyrim itself or Convenient Horses and some other mod. I wish I knew how to see all the mods I have installed, does Nexus Mod Manager show that? stark0722
Update-tried vanilla horses again and now Inigo is bending after dismounting. I started disabled all mods and tested and he was fine until I activated SkyUI. Still needs more testing but for now I guess we'll just keep walking. But at least I know it's not Convenient Horses doing it because I haven't installed it on this toon.
