Virtulox
So basically I got back into modding skyrim a couple of days ago and everything went fine, until I installed Real Shelter. So basically the moment I installed Real Shelter my anti-virus (Bitdefender) went f*#@ing crazy and started deleting a bunch of files into my Mod Organizer folder which is supposed to be excluded from being touched. I restarted my PC and restored all the files bitdefender quarantined and now no matter what I do my mod organizer won't log me in my Nexus Account or download mods. I tried a bunch of things but nothing works and now every time I start mod organizer I get this message 00:41:13 [W] QSslSocket: cannot resolve TLSv1_2_client_method00:41:13 [W] QSslSocket: cannot resolve TLSv1_1_server_method00:41:13 [W] QSslSocket: cannot resolve TLSv1_2_server_method00:41:13 [W] QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSL_select_next_proto00:41:13 [W] QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSL_CTX_set_next_proto_select_cb00:41:13 [W] QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSL_get0_next_proto_negotiated00:41:14 [D] ssl support: 100:41:14 [D] Working directory: C:\Games\ModOrganizer00:41:14 [D] MO at: C:\Games\ModOrganizer00:41:14 [D] initializing core00:41:14 [D] initialize plugins00:41:14 [D] looking for plugins in C:\Games\ModOrganizer\plugins00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "bsaExtractor.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "checkFNIS.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "diagnoseBasic.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "gameFallout3.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "gameFalloutNV.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "gameOblivion.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "gameSkyrim.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "iniEditor.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "installerBAIN.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "installerBundle.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "installerFomod.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "installerManual.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "installerNCC.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "installerQuick.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "NMMImport.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "previewBase.dll"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "pyCfg.py"00:41:14 [D] loaded plugin "proxyPython.dll"00:41:14 [D] downloads after refresh: 200:41:14 [D] game path: C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim00:41:14 [D] managing game at C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim00:41:14 [D] setting up configured executables00:41:14 [D] configured profile: Skyrim Revisited00:41:14 [D] initializing tutorials00:41:14 [D] loaded language en-US00:41:14 [D] interface Local Area Connection seems to be up (address: fe80::78f7:b8f4:29f8:726d%14)00:41:14 [D] displaying main window00:41:17 [D] C:\Games\ModOrganizer\profiles\Skyrim Revisited\modlist.txt saved00:42:14 [C] request (http://nmm.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Mods/1334/?game_id=110) error: Operation canceled 00:42:14 [W] request failed: Operation canceled00:44:14 [C] request (http://nmm.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Mods/1334/?game_id=110) error: Operation canceled 00:44:14 [W] request failed: Operation canceled00:46:14 [C] request (http://nmm.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Mods/1334/?game_id=110) error: Operation canceled 00:46:14 [W] request failed: Operation canceled00:48:14 [C] request (http://nmm.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Mods/1334/?game_id=110) error: Operation canceled 00:48:14 [W] request failed: Operation canceled00:48:14 [W] Failed to retrieve update information: Operation canceled00:48:14 [D] Failed to retrieve update information: Operation canceled [] I know I can still install mods manually but if I do that my mods won't automatically check for updates and stuff which is a real pain in the ass...Hopefully someone can help me with my problem :)
Deleted21550714User
open MO and towards top you should see a wrench+screwdriver icon. click on that then click on nexus. once thats open add your user name and password for nexus, click box that says automatically connect to nexus then finally click on the rectangular box that says - associate with "download with manager" links- if you have already had done that and your user info is still there and you still have a check in the box for automatically connect to nexus try clicking that last box "associate with download with manager links again, Edited February 23, 2018 by Guest
Virtulox
Thanks for the answer but unfortunately I've tried that numerous times and it doesn't work. I tried rewriting my nexus username and password like 30 times, I tried re-installing mod organizer, I tried opening nxmhandler.exe, I tried installing NNM (Which works no problem btw), I tried installing like 3 different versions of OpenSSL. I don't know what my anti-virus did but now MO doesn't want to connect to Nexus anymore :/
Deleted21550714User
in MO, In settings(screwdriver icon) what nmm version do you have showing? 0.52.2 if so try 0.52.3 it will be the second one i showed unless you changed it to .52.2, like all the old guides instruct to do. Mine is on 0.52.3 and works. the other thing to check is is in settings under nexus tab make sure you had clicked associate with "download with manager" links
