Body mod wont replace body of Custom Race

Hi! I'm kinda new to modding Skyrim and I need some help with something.

 

I'm currently using the Enhanced Character Edit mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12951) And I want my character (who is the race Young Nord) to have a better body to match with the head, but no matter how many body mods I try they never replace the body on her. Is there a way to override her body meshes/textures? :0

Can someone help me fix this? Thanks!

Have you tried to reinstall it? Also, the female nifs may have been corrupted in the download so you can also try that.

The meshes folder for YgNord is empty, so it's using default assets. Mods generally don't update that folder automatically, so you'll need to copy them over by hand.

 

Copy the files:

...\skyrim\data\meshes\actors\character\character assets\

femalebody_0.nif

femalebody_1.nif

femalehands_0.nif

femalehands_1.nif

femalefeet_0.nif

femalefeet_1.nif

 

And paste to:

...\skyrim\data\meshes\actors\character\ygnord\

 

You'll need to copy over the textures for YgNord as well, they're located at:

For default females:

...\skyrim\data\textures\actors\character\female

 

For female YgNord:

...\skyrim\data\textures\actors\character\enhanced\female

 

After all that, you can put the default assets back to whatever you prefer and the YgNord race will use only the files in its own folder.
