Uninstalled Mods Still Appearing In Data Folder.

I'm a little confused about how virtualisation is working.

I decided to try out Vortex by starting with a fresh install of Fallout 4 and a new mod build. After installing a number a dozen mods via 'download with manager,' I decided to simplify my mod list and remove AWKCR. First, I deactivated it, then uninstalled it checking the option to remove all its records. It no longer appears in Vortex, but when I look in my fallout 4 data folder ArmorKeywords.esm still appears to be there. I haven't installed any mods manually and the only thing I've installed outside of Vortex is F4se. How could this be possible?

Isn't Vortex like in Alpha right now ? You should report this to the devs, because I don't have a clue.

I'll stick with MO for now. At least until Vortex is released in a stable build.

Yesterday I uninstall Tera Armors from my Skyrim game ( it caused two CTD's in less than 30 minutes play time ) and the game is not anymore in my data folder. When you uninstall a mod in Vortex, a window will pop up and will ask you if you want to remove only files or archive as well. If you select both, you will completely remove all traces and will exist no more in your data folder. Probably you are missing this step.

Maybe this explains my face yesterday. After got annoyed about alerts of conflicts, and could solve that. I got the last alert saying "mods in cycle" a to B and B to A. Ok maybe I messed up.

To solve I had deactivated the mod and then uninstalled selecting "remove the file" (the option that pops up after u select uninstall).

for my surprise the vortex still popingup the same message for a mod that does not exist. (not sure if I am missing something or if it is a related issue).

I did not checked the folder if still existent.

fo4 with vortex alpha.

Can you post your user rules file (either in a spoiler tag or a pastebin link):

%APPDATA%\Vortex\<game_id>\userlist.yaml

Note which mods were conflicting in the error message. Also, double check your plugins tab to see that the plugins did get purged. If this persists, report it through the Send Feedback option in Vortex.

yes sure I can do that. I don't see the message right now because I did "dismiss", but I'll send the info as soon as I arrive home.

Thanks for your kindly suggestion, the problem is solved. Maybe my ccleaner not totally sure fixed (it's doing auto clean).

when I checked the file %APPDATA%\Vortex\<game_id>\userlist.yaml I only saw 1 dependency that I set up previously looksmenu compendium depends of looksmenu. That's what it was there.

Anyway thanks !!!
