Prescription black rim glasses

I'm at my first playtrough of Fallout 4 and I'm having heaps of fun making my character exactly as I imagined it, however, as far as I can see, there's a disturbing lack of prescription glasses, both in vanilla game and on Nexus. :D

Is it possible to make the prescription version of the black rim glasses, by making the lenses transparent? Any good soul out there willing to do that? It would be awesome if it would be transparent, but be able to reflect light for that psycho glasses effect.

Perhaps adding a piece of tape in the middle could make it look a bit battered, and more lore friendly. But I don't know how hard it is to pull that off, so that's totally up to the modder, if one is willing to take on this task.

Thanks a million if you do! :)

I've tried out RadBans and it has some awesome looking glasses, however I've had the issue with them clipping through my character's ears. However, I've stumbled upon this awesome mod made by none other than legendary fadingsignal, which fit perfectly on my character.

He blinked while I took the SS though. :D

Now, if only I could figure out how to put the duct tape on it to make it more post-apocalypticuesque, I would be golden. :D

It's always nice to hear back, after you make the effort to help!

As for the duct tape...try looking into modifying textures, it shouldn't be too hard to change just that small part of the glasses. You could do it with things like Paint.NET for free. Good luck!

Yeah, I'm gonna give it a try. I've been messing around in the Creation Kit recently. Never really did any modding myself. It's hard work, but it must be very awarding to be able to make the game your own. :)

Yeah, I've ran into that mod in my search for the glasses. I already have that simulation iRL whenever I take the specs off, so that mod would be just a painful reminder. :D Sweet idea though. :D
