Allamorte
I've been having trouble with some weird visual effects in skyrim. IT only occurs on tundra shrub. Here is an photo of what I mean. The distortions are circled in red. http://imageshack.us/f/9/screenshot2132.png/ I do use custom texture packs, as well as ENB. If you need anymore info, just ask I may not be on if you solve this problem, so reply and I'll check back, or you can pm me. NoobusExtremus
I think what you're seeing is the edge of the polygon used to create the bush. Does it look normal if you walk around to the side a little? Usually, simple objects like these are drawn with a couple of flat polygons with the textures mapped to make them look like a bush or tree or whatever. If you were to look straight down on them, they probably look like a capital letter " X ".
Allamorte
at certain angles, it doesn't do that, but you may be on to something. Do you think reverting them back to vanilla textures and models might solve it, or do you think I'll have to try something else.
Paximilian Von Licht
I too actually get this! It's only annoying if you focus on the grass, though. If you ignore it it's easy to miss. But I can't imagine as to why it actually occurs! D;

Allamorte
I'm using a nvidia geforce gtx 260, so it shouldn't be occuring....one thing I'm gonna try is disabling my mirror driver (or forcing it off for skyrim) as well as vsync (which I doubt is the problem but what the hell)
Allamorte
I found what appears to be a temporary solution. I enabled FXAA as well as turned off my tweaks to disable bloom and fix the eye adaptation, and that appears to have lessened the intensity of the problem to a level subtle enough to play the game without annoyance. I still have no definitive solution, but I will continue to try to fix this. If I find a solution, I'll post something about it, but as for now, I hope this helps anyone with a similar issue. TactlessNinja
I just posted about this, because it was incredibly annoying. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/644884-peculiar-texture-problem-that-only-appears-on-grasssome-rocks-and-at-a-specific-angle/ I've got 2 nVidia GTX 465's and honestly, I can't remember having this issue before the patch. I did take a break from Skyrim for a while but I haven't missed that many patches and this issue wasn't there beforehand.
