Dawnguard bugged?

I am lost now in the Dawnguard quest line, and don't know wat to do anymore.

 

Started with awakening, i have several hard saves from begin to end in this quest. works oke.

Bloodline side chosen dawnguard, oke too.

New order, find the two people needed, seems oke too.

 

From begin till end new order there are 32 hard saves ( I did it for the second time this playtrough ).

Then start Prophet and i crash to desktop when i save. It happens with hard save, quicksave and autosave when cell change.

 

I can load every singel save from begin dawnguard till the last but every save is affected. And this is the most strange thing.

Because before i enter Fort Dawnguard to finish the New order quest, i tested several saves.

Quit the game, start game, load save, all work, try to save, all work well. Go in dawnguard, go back outside, work. Finish quest, start quest prophet, go out, crash. All saves affected.

Frustrating and i don't know anymore wat to do.

 

Played this many times with the LE version, it was one of my favoriete questlines. but this is not funny. :verymad:

Did you clean Dawnguard twice via SSEEdit ?

 

There is a procedure in Steam about how to clean master files and it has been advised that Dawnguard MUST be cleaned twice and on the second time, 3 records must be manually removed in order to avoid issues. If you have not done that, I do encourage you to do it. This may be the reason, I do not know but we know for sure that not cleaning Dawnguard as the procedure says, it will cause issues in your game.

Yes I had cleaned all the files, however not the 3 manually. I did now.

But the most strange thing still is, that all the saves are backwards affected, and no, it isn't a virus. I am sure of that.

 

Still working on a solution.
