darkus37
Hi, I've been playing around with a mod in which I am using the tesla cannon projectile. I've extracted the mesh and attached it to a static object so that it remains visible in-game, and I've put it behind a glassed in section. Unfortunately, while looking at it at certain angles, the effect seems to disappear and then when you look again from another angle, it sort of pops-in. What, if anything can I do to keep the effect stable?
SariDecember
Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it. The glass and the energy effect both use meshes with alpha properties and as soon as two of these are overlapping each other, only the one closer to the "camera" will be visible! :( deleting the alpha property in nifskope also won't solve the problem since it's needed for the transparency effect! Jeux
Wow, didn't know about that actually. Never ran into a similar issue, but now I know! Thanks Sari
Quetzlsacatanango
Does it have to be behind glass? You could use a transparent collision marker instead, or a force field.
