Long game sessions cause game to slow

Basically, When i start playing i get around 20-30fps which is good enough. However after 20ish minutes, the game will start to slow down until it becomes unplayable/9-12fps. I am not using any ENB presets and have checked the FNV mod conflict troubleshooting guide but none of that has worked yet.

I am using Zan'sAutoPurgeCrashprotector as well as CASM if that makes any difference

Please see the 'Issue: FPS drops over time' entry in the 'Solutions to Performance problems' section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. IF that specific advice does not apply, take a look at some of the other entries in that section.

Do not use an "Auto-purge" mod for game play. (That was old advice from before we knew better.) They are designed for debugging by mod creator's only, according to the author of the JIP extensions to NVSE. See the 'Issue: CTD without warning, "Out of Memory error", or stops responding after the Main Menu', "Cause-2", "Solution-3" entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide for the game settings that do the same job.

Otherwise, please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as NVSE and it's related plugins, texture replacements (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), and "post-processors" like ENB or SweetFX.

There are some helpful hints in Dubious's guide, but I think part of this is just bugs in the game engine. The game's texture caching system seems to leak memory, which eventually slows down your game and causes it to crash. Try setting your texture quality down to low and see if that has any impact on how quickly the game slows down. If it does, then that is probably your issue. Unfortunately, since we can't modify the game's code, we can't fix their texture caching bugs. Setting your textures to a lower quality level will help though. On my system, I basically started out with highest quality textures, then lowered the texture quality until I could get a game that played and remained stable for several hours. Most of the time I can play the game for as long as I want with no issues. Once in a while things will start to get slow, but that only happens after several hours of play, definitely much longer than the 20 minutes or so you're getting.

I use the 4 GB patch, but very little else. For mods, I have TTW, Robco Certified, Nevada Skies, MCM, and a couple dozen of my own mods. I don't use any texture mods or ENB mods.

I have used FCO and Freeside Open in the past, but both of these tend to strain FNV's delicate memory system so I stopped using them due to the performance issues they caused.

CASM shouldn't cause any frame rate issues. I agree with Dubious. Don't use auto-purge.
