armourdude Posted April 11, 2012 Share Posted April 11, 2012 I have a request for a mod I dont know if it simple or not. But what I need is a way to make a NPC Character speak with out my player going up and starting it. What i want is a way to make a NPC to perform a long speach with gestures and the movement that are displayed when the NPCs speak to each other. The NPC dosent even need to make a sound it just needs to act like it is talking. It is for a project that I am doing that I will voice over. Any help would be Appreciated. I thought that with all the animation and director animations that there might be somthing made that could do what i want. I will keep looking. Lanceor Posted April 12, 2012 Share Posted April 12, 2012 You can use the "Say" command to force an NPC to talk to nobody in particular. I combined it with the "Look" command to make the NPC look at various people/things while talking. As for hand gestures, I haven't tried, but I know the Anvil prophet in Knights of the Nine uses three different idle animations while preaching, so I think he would be worth studying to see how it was done. What i want is to get my player character talking to an NPC then use the TFC command to step back and watch the conversation. Or another posiblity is to use the Player.createfullactor copy command then get the copy into a conversations with an NPC that I can observe and record.
