New Fallout 4 Mod Author Here!

Hello Everyone!

 

My name is Sasha, and I'm an aspiring Fallout 4 Mod Author! I have some experience from when I was younger, toying around with the Morrowind Construction Kit, and I have been invited to work on a Mechwarrior 3 Mod Project.

 

I'm a Jill-of-all-trades, meaning I enjoy, or am willing to learn and expand on my skills in any area of mod creation, from writing, modelling, rigging, texturing, voice acting, manipulation, etc.

 

My current goal, which prompted me to post here, is to make a huge overhaul/DLC style mod for Fallout 4, containing a new location, assets, NPCs, factions, companions, and dialogue, while trying to stay as true to Fallout lore as possible, given the circumstances.

 

I would like to get in touch with any Lore Hounds out there, that know the lore of the fallout series from "Fallout", through all the main-line and spinoff games, for some information about things I'm finding difficult to track down. I have messaged Oxhorn (Youtube, Twitch, Twitter) for his expertise, but I have yet to hear a reply. It's okay though, busy people are busy! :D

 

Anyways, please feel free to message me if you also like Fallout 4 modding and would like to chat, share WIP mods for testing, or would like to be considered for helping/testing my own mod!

As for a more personal line, as mentioned, I'm Sasha, and I love RPGs and FPS games, which is why I think I like Fallout 3, NV and 4 so much. I'm a young parent, married to my husband of 9 years, and am very keen to learn about new technologies, and I really, really love old tech as well.

 

My favourite past times are watching things on youtube, learning about the lore of my favourite games, chilling with friends and playing games on any platform, walks, and participating in the various communities I am a part of.

Welcome to the site Sasha! It's especially nice to greet a potential mod author for ANY game! Something I have learned from others though, is that many will not take you seriously on announcing intentions to mod something. I find that you get a better response to things after you have banged your head against your keyboard repeatedly in frustration with trying to make something work, failing, and turning to the community with your progress and possible suggestions for how to solve problems and proceeding from there- hopefully sparking someone else's interest in helping you further. Then again, you may already know someone willing to help. Whatever the case, good luck! :smile:
