Changing multiple "vertex color" at once in NIFskope?

I'm even more late, but I have a direct solution to this issue so I figured I'd leave it here. If you toggle off vertex colors the vertex color "reload" button changes to a Hex color edit button. You can click on that and change it to the desired color then turn vertex colors back on. All vertex colors will now be the newly selected color.

Which version of nifskope are you using for that? Mine doesn't do that.

This is WAY more late.. but figured I'd post it anyway in case someone stumbles onto this thread as I did. I think was HeirOfTheSeptems was referring to with that solution was NiTriShapeData (LE) versus BSTriShapes. NiTriShapeData is the only time I've seen that "Has Vertex Colors" on/off option with the color wheel. Once the object is converted to SSE (BSTriShapes) those options are gone.

I'm now trying to use Outfit Studio to paint the Vertex colors, which I think will work.
