From looks of your pic you may have an issue with the textures. Are you certain that you have the LOD textures in the right folder and that they have been converted to TGA?

It's been my experience that LOD is kind of glitchy for SSE. The only way I have been able to do it is with third party utilities and those haven't always worked right for me either. For some reason Oscape doesn't like the 0,0 cell of my landmass and makes it sink to the default landmass height. What I have read makes me think that I made an error using the CK height map editor. I was able to work around it, but it was still annoying.

Are you using any custom meshes, or is this just an ESP using vanilla assets?

Hi I have made a bit of progress Involving the LOD for the World Map. but it is still messy in area and also where my Character is stood I have filled that region with lots of flora and trees and I do have a custom Path resource but I don't know how to create LOD For it so as that shows up on the World space. also the floor is horrible brown but in the game it is not like that it should be nice green Grass showing not brown Mud. so I'm still having issues with the LOD.

The workaround I needed to use to get the actual terrain to show was Oscape witch apparently is not compatible with SSE. but I managed to get it to function.

Also my Default Land Height Is Set to 0.00000 and the same goes for my water Height that is also 0.00000

Oscape will work with SSE , but yeah it's not perfect. A proper port to SSE would be nice.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6642 Give this a try for objects and trees. It takes some setting up, but once that's done it works pretty good. You'll need to head the Oldrim page for instructions. Just keep in mind that it can blank out your terrain LOD and you may need to run Oscape again.

Also there are some settings in the CK you can use to make objects show on the map. https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Static

I Had a look at both Links I have used the First Link to which turned the Mountains from Pink to the default original texture. and I have ticked the following boxes but in game the world map still is not picking the Objects up. also why is the terrain just Brown?.

Oh! Wait. This is an obscure little thing one needs to know to get LOD textures to show up. In that first window in Oscape where you tick the box next your mod you must also check the box next to Skyrim ESM. That bit of info that you have too hunt for, so it's easy to miss.

You might need to redo the object LOD to get stuff to show on the map.
