mundordin
when i try to edit a script, it looks as if nothing has happened and i cant click anywhere in that tab unless i press 'ESC'. the reason i think its invisible is because after i click 'Edit', type few random letters And then press the 'ESC' key, i get a exit warning popup asking if i want to discard changes even though the script editor isn't visibly there. its very weird and it hasn't happened to other that i know. just in case some are wondering. no i don't get script doesn't compile errors. this is different. removing and re-installing the Creation Kit does nothing. external editors not optional so please don't suggest it, i just want to know a fix for it and not a 'use something else(like notepad++)' kind of fix. JonathanOstrus
The editor window could be off screen somewhere. You could try to find the setting in the SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini/CreationKitPrefs.ini (I think it's the "Papyrus Script Edit Window" ones) and delete the keys. This would cause it to reset the window. But I prefer to try and use keyboard commands to try and move it. After choosing to edit, with the window "hidden", press ALT+Spacebar on the keyboard. Then the letter M. Then the left arrow key. Then try dragging your mouse around. The window should be in move move and moving your mouse should pop it back on screen. Once you got in in place somewhere you can just left click the mouse to set it down. Make sure you safely close CK for it to save the prefs file with the new window location.
