ArchieVision Posted April 13, 2012 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Hello, My name is Lee, and I am a Indie game dev that is taking a stab at the Creation Kit for Skyrim. I have a couple of years experience with UDK, and CryEngine. I currently running UDKLearning.com, and the YouTube Channel UDKLearning. I have never used a modding setup quite like this, but the over all look, feel, and operation of the CRK is great. The "Mystery of the Dwemer" Quest line will be a full quest about as long as the Main quest in Skyrim. The story starts simply with the finding of a slain traveler on the road to Markarth. You find a journal that talks about the disappearance of the dwemer, and the likely reasons behind it. It also mentions an artifact that might help explain what happened to them. You get the quest to find this artifact. Well, the quest line goes a little long because you have to learn what the artifact is and where and how to use it, then it takes you to a new area I have already added to Blackreach. This is where it gets interesting. You learn the Dwemer did not die, the actually found another world, and went to it to escape the never ending attacks from the Draugr, Forsworn, and Falmer. It is a world very similar to our own. They have advanced far with magical Machines and metal work. There knowledge is very advanced as well. You will learn all this once you find the doorway. But, there is a catch. Once you go through, there is no way to get back to Tamriel. You will encounter new weapons, Armor, Playable races, enemies, Animals, Architecture, vehicles, and so on. It will be along the same size as Shivering Isles. This is a WIP, and if you would like to help, here are the area's, I am weak in. Animation, modeling, and Scripting. I can do Level design in my sleep, and well as write the story for quest lines quite well. But, the Models will not be of very high quality if I have to do the modeling. You could just COC, but that would defeat the purpose. As far as the Story line, I am still int eh works on it. But, it is coming along nicely.
