Cannot Edit NPC's Face

Whenever I click on the "Face" Tab of the NPC Window my CS crashes. I presume it is because I am running Vista 64-Bit, neither of which Bethesda "Officially Supports".

Is there any known way around this? Or is there another way to somehow edit an NPC's face?

i don't know much about vista, but i do recall some sort of mod where u can customize npc's stats and faces ingame. i forgot which one it's called, maybe fellow modders can help me with this one. depending on if ur trying to altar the face of a vanilla oblivion npc, how many, and if it's from a companion mod, etc. but if it's on a vanilla npc(s) if worst comes to worse, try saving ur construction set on a memory card "forgot what their called at the moment" and maybe going to your local library or school/university computer. and of coarse when u edit it their, save it then load the construction set with the edits into your computer. If i remember correctly, you need to also copy the data folder from your oblivion program. And yes at one time i had to do this since my computer wasn't up to date, though my current one still isn't lol.

good luck.

Thank you. The compatibility tab makes for a little more elegant crash, and not -quite- as quickly, but that's about it. I will try running on my computer at work to see if I can get it to run.

BTW, there is NOTHING I don't like better about XP than Vista. I am REALLY sorry I didn't get XP on this machine.
