charlottenoyen
I've downloaded the scripts from Automatic Item Storage and would like to attach them to some of the chests in the Asteria. I've been following the excellent tutorial included with AIS to the letter, but I run into trouble at this step: [...] move any of the scripts you want to use into your Skyrim/Data/Scripts/Source folder. Then, with your mod loaded in the ck, all you should need to do now it attach the desired storage scripts to the containers of your choosing. You can attach the scripts to the references of the containers, or the base objects themselves (though not the vanilla base objects, that’s a bad idea); either works. I'm very new to this. I don't know how to do that. Any help or a link to a tutorial would be very much appreciated.

ScarabMonkey
I think the Bookshelves tutorial would be more useful for you, shows you where to add scripts to items:http://www.creationkit.com/Tutorial_Bookshelves Edit... Sorry it doesn'tThe tab you want is the farthest to the right (scroll some) on the container object
Ghaunadaur
1. Copy the script you need, i.e. MT_AutomaticItemStorageScript in your Data\Scripts\Source folder 2. Load the CK, go to Gameplay->Papyrus Script Manager 3. Search the script, right click and compile... 4. Load up the the cell you want to modify 5. In render window, double click a container you want to add the script 6. Scroll through the tabs to Scripts -> Add -> choose MT_AutomaticItemStorageScript -> OK
