Formaldahide
K a completely difrent question I want to try and make a weapons mod for Skyrim, completely new, so no replacer or annything, but actualy the only mods i ever made were for zootycoon 2 together with a few othe peeps, i made some mod fixes for DaO but a fix is easy. So here my questions, A) Will the mesh have to be in 1 part? or can i use multiple part meshes?B) whats the best tool to make the textures? when i unwrap or render to texture it gets so messy, i'm more used to working with materials than textueres.C) i got no clue on how to rig, anny good tut on that? XD *added a pic from part of a fun project to show i know my 3Ds* i know, to high polly for a game, but its for a render, not a mod :) http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7112/7074354009_0b9d5c6200.jpg
ghosu
A. You can use several meshes, each with its own textures and shader settings.B. zBrush/Mudbox/Sculptris in Combination with Photoshop/GIMPC. Afaik there is one in the Tutorial Sticky, but i guess that's not the best thing to start with :D Edited April 13, 2012 by ghosu
