It's got some of the best gun-fights and slo-mo effects i've ever seen in a game. It's sequel(Project Origin) is due for release sometime, later this year, if i'm not mistaken. For some more creepiness(but not as satisfying gameplay), you could try Doom 3. Bioshock is supposedly creepy, but I can't really say for sure(never played it, myself). If you're looking for a raw adrenaline rush, you may want to check out Gears of War(it's sequel has recently been announced, not sure on a release date though). The Orange Box may be useful to you as well. Hope this helps.
Zeazer Posted June 29, 2008 Author Posted June 29, 2008 Completed all F.E.A.R.'s already.Gears of War completed.Bioshock not completed yet awesome might get it.Doom 3 is great for scares but as you say not in gameplay.I also have a suggestion for all of you that like action games too. Crysis What's not to like about throwning enemies through walls or headshoot them.Or blow up buildings.Or blow up buildings with a exploding car and enemies inside hehe.
macmert Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 hmm... Bioshock is a great game, but not for my taste, it can really screw you up since it is quite horrible game... If you want to be scared and have action, try alone in the dark and silent hill also resident evil series... for great action I recommend quake II (it was awesome, along with the music :D) maybe call of duty?
bluekatt Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 resident evil silent hill project zero the sufferingmanhunt take your pick
Zeazer Posted July 1, 2008 Author Posted July 1, 2008 Do you have weapons in Silent Hill?Im not so intressted in horror games with weapons or at least not in the begining. Also could you please provide a short description.
Palpenious Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Silent Hills are similar to Resident Evil. Basically Konami's answer to Resident Evil, but they focus more on the horror and less on the action. You will have to really conserve ammo, and run from enemies a lot more than you do in RE. The puzzles are a bit more clever than the earlier RE games, though, which may be a plus or minus to you, depending on your preference. And yes, you do get weapons, but as I said, you rely on them a bit less than the average action game. All in all a very good game, and pretty good at scaring you, but it is a more, constant, creeped out feeling than, "oh my god! What was that?"

The first expansion wasn't that great, but it was forgivable since the combat was fun(In my opinion). The second expansion just plain sucked though. The game itself is an absolute blast, both in single player and online.
