Mofakin
Hello, I'm planning to upload a mod to your download section and ask myself if it fully supports .html? I've based my readme on .html and thought before redoing anything in BB I point out this question to you guys.
Thandal
Use BBcode for anything you want to actually display "live" on the site. But feel free to use html within a readme or user's manual that you include in the download archive.

ub3rman123
If you want the on-site readme to look really nice without messing about with BBCode, try making an image out of it. It has the drawbacks of not being as easily editable for updates, though.
