I'm new to modding and to anything related to that :P so far i see countless of swords but i never find anything like the sword im trying to make and i didn't find any tutorial about how can i modify a blade that has a 2-3 S curves . well as u can see the number is not my first try :D but somehow those curves really weird and whatever i try to do end up messing it even more :D i gladly accept any suggestions and sorry if i'm posting in the wrong sections :/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ghosu Posted April 17, 2012 Share Posted April 17, 2012 Ah well i have to leave now so i can't post screenshots but i think the best way would be using a loft nurb with n-splines...6-8 sided. I use loft nurbs in my signature tutorial as well, part 1. Create one spline, form it like the profile of the blade, copy/paste it a few times along the shape of the blade (reduze size of course the closer you get to the end) and to create the whole you can create a cylinder, size and place it like one whole...copy paste and place it along the other holes, select all and group them. Then create a boole (from symbol bar), first put the cylinder group into the boole object first and then the blade...then it cuts out the holes. cya Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then select all cylinders in the right object window, rightlick and group them so they are merged together into one group OR select all, rightclick, MERGE+DELETE.
