MysticSnowfang
okay, so. I've been thinking. There's many types of armour, made from many different sorts of materials. However, there is no wooden armour. Wooden armour wasn't seen only in Japan, but in other cultuers. However the most well known is from Japan. We also know that the Akivir of Nyrn are very Japanese-like in many ways. Why wouldn't they have had some laqured wooden armour? If anyone is able to make this, please? Somebody? MLeonhardt
Brb charging fireball spells. I'm not able to do anything about it either, but I like the idea. What I really want is some Stone armor. Make you look like a golem. Edited April 18, 2012 by MLeonhardt
TheRealAedh
Um...wooden armor? Too much anime? Aside from bogu used in modern kendo and related arts, the Japanese used lacquered leather and iron/steel armor. Besides, you really wouldn't be able to tell at a glance, especially in a video game, if something was lacquered wood, leather, metal, plastic or paper. MLeonhardt
Unless you used an obviously wooden texture.
TheRealAedh
Have you ever seen anything lacquered? Using an obviously wooden texture would defeat the purpose behind something being 'lacquered'.
