TalonZer0
So currently I have Mod Organizer 2 installed for Fallout 4. I made a new folder for Skyrim SE Mod Organizer 2. I have 2 instances of MO in separate folders. BUT when I run my new MO for Skyrim SE it just opens my first MO for Fallout 4. How do I get around this? Do I use the thing in the top right to get the "game selection dialog"? That worked but I'm just not sure if its using the right folders. 3aq
I use mo2 for fnv and sse.. here's what I do and I know it works. I extracted 2 copies of mo2 folder into my designated directory c:\z\ I renamed the extracted 2 folders as mo2 - fnv and mo2 - sse I double clicked the mo2 exe for each folder and associated their respective folder's mo2 with its respective game. I then made a shortcut of each folder's mo2.exe and renamed the shortcut mo2 - fnv and mo2 - sse I finally changed their respective icon picture to their respective game's icon picture this helps to quickly differentiate between the mo2's. you shouldn't have issue if you do something similar, it hasn't failed me and I'm pretty sure it shouldn't fail anyone else unless you are skipping or adding a step. 3aq
are you sure it's a brand new copy of mo2? try this, first copy the mods folder for all of your mo2, keep somewhere safe, for brevity let's say desktop. now, delete all of your mo2 folders; every single mo2. now extract 2 brand new mo2 folders into your designated directory, and rename both.. follow the steps I put up previously, then cut and paste the mo2 mods folder into their respective game. if that doesn't solve it I don't know what. methusalem666
It´s an old threat, I know, but I was forced to rebuild my whole system because of a MB change. Than I found this walkthrough from @3aq, that helped me a lot to get MO2 to work with 5 different games.I want to let a big thanks here for that! But be aware: if you have already an installed copy of MO2 it won´t work. You should really follow the steps 3aq provided.I made a fresh folder structure for the 5 instances and for the game data folders aswell BEFORE I took copy´s of the portable instances in every MO2 folder. After that I associated one instance after another with the games I wanted to modify. If you look after the gamepath at the preferences, you will see that every game is able to find the folder for the game data itself that are made before.Every other step from 3aq worked fine. Man, I tried that for years and now it works fine. Sorry for my bad english, it´s not my first language.
