stepsym Posted March 27, 2018 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Hi, I have the mod 'deployable turrets' installed and I love it but I'd really like to me able to throw out a turret like a grenade and not a mine. Is there anyone out there that could point me in the right direction to edit the mod to do this? I know it can be done as I also have the 'bubble mini-turrets and mini sentry' installed but it doesn't work no matter where I put it in my load order! I'm not a modder or anything but I'm alright at making simple edits in CK. I've looked everywhere for a tutorial and messed about for days with no luck so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well, as an interim kludge,there are how-to's on modding the JunkJet out there...you can have a 'magazine'/'hidden container' for the modded receiver,which will launch mines... ergo, that is a 'mine-thrower'.it has the added advantage of 'ammunition control'.the problem is, it might come out at an odd angle. I use that to have a 'rapid-deployable mine-field" in Arena Combat etc. incidentally,if you do get the grenade deployable turret working;you can also load that into either the Grenade-Throwing JunkJet and or China Lake etc...therefore, you could throw those too.You can have it attached to your blaster as an under-slung China Lake option/ "alt-bayonet" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
