Stemin
So I'm probably asking for punishment since I can't seem to get Oblivion or Skyrim to work the way I want them to, but I was thinking of getting Morrowind as well. I started playing TES games with Skyrim, so I'm not really sure how the expansions work. If I buy the GotY edition, does that include Tribunal and the other one? Or are those something totally different? I have the GotY version of Oblivion, but I haven't a clue how I would go about starting Shivering Isles or Knights of the Nine. I just want to know which version of Morrowind I should look to buy. Also, can I run this on Windows 7 64 bit professional, or would I need to run a dos emulator or something? I'd like to try that mod that installs a bunch of mods to update the game all at once.
Tchos
To answer a couple of your questions, Morrowind GotY includes Bloodmoon and Tribunal. Morrowind is a Windows game, so a DOS emulator would not run it. I don't know about Windows 7 64 bit. To start Oblivion's Shivering Isles, if it's correctly installed, then you look for a tiny island in the Niben Bay. To start KotN, you look for a street preacher in Anvil. AurianaValoria1
I can testify that Morrowind runs perfectly fine on a Windows 7 64 bit OS. :D
Stemin
Morrowind is a Windows game, so a DOS emulator would not run it. I don't know about Windows 7 64 bit. Ok. I knew it was an older game, but I didn't know how old and I've been reading creepy pasta (http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Jvk1166z.esp) I thought about getting the xbox version which is supposedly compatible with the 360, but every time I try playing one of these TES games on the console I get the itch to try mods. So far I'm 0/2 on getting them to be playable on PC though. Thanks for your help.

JimboUK
Get the GOTY edition, the installer may or may not install them automatically, if not then install them in the following order...Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon and then the latest Bloodmoon patch. Don't get the Stream version, it's over priced and does not include the CS. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Morrowind_for_Oblivion_Players this is worth reading, it details the differences between Morrowind and Oblivion. I didn't check today, but steam had Morrowind on sale for $9.99 yesterday. Can the construction set be downloaded separately the same as with skyrim? Yeah I noticed the sale yesterday, I still wouldn't buy it from there because the CS cannot be downloaded separately, not from a legitimate source anyway. Stemin
So I just picked up the GotY edition published by mastertronic and presented by PC Gamer. Should I try playing the stock version or try one of the overhaul mods right now? I could run it on my newer PC that I'm running Skyrim on, but since it's an older game I'd kinda like to run it on my laptop. It's only got a Celeron 540 (1.86GHz, 1 MB L2, 533MHz FSB) with 2Gigs of Ram and a Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with 128MB-251MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory. I'm fairly certain it'll run the stock game. Doubtful it will handle the upgraded game. Thoughts?
