Enemy Detection Radius Suddenly To High?

So, i recently updated to the game version that was put out on the first of the month. And now, all my enemies keep spotting me from way, way too far away. I'm not sure what could be causing this, I've got a solid 230 or so mods. But, everything was behaving totally fine before. And everything is fine now, except for these highly perceptive enemies.

So, is there any mods that reduce enemy awareness? I know there's a few made to make enemies more aware, but does the opposite exist?

Anyone else noticing strange differences since that update on the first? All my settlers keep walking away from my settlements too, now. I barely have any settlement related mods, and every single mod i have is up to date. I don't much mind the settler issue, though. But this detection radius is a problem.

What, those mods cause this hyper-aware enemy problem? Or are you saying they help reduce enemy awareness? Because i've never had any of those mods.

That's not all that's acting up. When I dismiss companions now, they just stay exactly where they were instead of wandering off to wherever home is. Guess alot of NPC AI in general is acting up in my game since the update on the 1st.

Looks like i'm the only one having these problems. Guess it must be one or more of my mods, I just can't imagine which one(s). Still, is there a mod that exists which REDUCES enemy awareness?

Junkmaster increases AI detection range, so enemies can spot you, and each other, from further away. That sounds like your issue. The other two do the same, but supposedly just for settlers. Mods that affect sneaking may also have an affect on that range, among other things. If you aren't using any of those you'll probably need to post your mod list to really sort it out.

However, you might be able to get away with a console command to reset detection range to the default, vanilla value.

After looking around I can't seem to find either, but give the 'Lite' version of Search and Destroy a try, it claims to have values only mildly higher than vanilla.
