koldingfjord
So, I recently installed Fallout NV on my laptop and everything worked as it should. But when I walked up to Ike, the bartender in Boulder City, his voice was missing and his lips weren't moving. I figured it wasn't a problem so long it was only him, so I went on. Later I bumped into a Robobrain and noticed at distance its treads where flickering. I quickly realized that the treads' textures were missing and I was beginning to get annoyed. Later, I went to The Tops and spoke with a bartender. To my anger, he had the same issue as Ike did. I then went on to the other casinoes to find out they ALL had the issue. I thought to myself: "If I uninstall and reinstall the game, it should fix the problem". Only that it didn't fix anything. So guys, any advice? Craigsters
Did you make sure your laptop is up date with the Latest Windows updates? Does your laptop meet the games minimum specs to play it? What is your laptop's specs? Are you running any mods? Did you use Fallout New Vegas ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated and remember to activate it? sounds like a audio codec issue Edited April 21, 2012 by Craigsters

Did you use Fallout New Vegas ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated and remember to activate it? sounds like a audio codec issue My laptop is up to date, it does meet up with the requirements, I have tried running the game without mods and I have activated ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. My laptop runs on Windows 7 Home Premium, the graphic card being NVIDIA Geforce GT 520M and the CPU being Intel Core i3, so it must be a "audio codec issue". But do you know how to fix that?
